MIGSCON XXIX

Bring and Buy

It has not been decided yet if MIGSCON will run a Bring and Buy.

The following information is LAST YEAR'S Guidline.

How does it work?

You have to complete a BRING & BUY Auction Seller Registration Sheet that lists all of your items. Next, complete an Auction Store Item Sheet (download in Word) for each of your items. Tape the BRING & BUY Item Sheet to items using Painters tape to avoid damaging them. Set the price you want for the item, but all prices must be in a whole dollar amount (ie: $10 or $12, NOT $10.50). We do not wish to handle small change.

You may set three different prices based on the time the item sells. Each seller will be permitted to enter 20 items maximum. We will accept items from 10am to 11am .Simply drop your items off with the item sheets attached, and then pick up your unsold items approximately 1 hour after the end of BRING & BUY closes. If the Bring & Buy area starts to become depleted, and you have additional items to sell, check back with the Bring & Buy registration to see if the additional items can be accepted The Store hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and the prices will change (at your discretion) at 1 pm and 3 pm . This will allow you as the seller to benefit from the ability to lower the price as the day wears on. It also allows you to benefit from the buyers who will pay the higher earlier price because they will be concerned someone else may take your item before they do. Of course if you only want to list one price for all three times that's ok too! Sellers proceeds will be available approximately 1 hour after the closing of the Bring & Buy Store.
Items not picked up by 7pm on the Saturday of the Bring & Buy will become property of MIGS.

What are the costs?

Each item or lot listed costs $1.00 or 10 % of its selling price (whichever is greater).
